CLEANING/DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A Cleaning/Damage Deposit of $550 is due 30 days prior to your event.

The full deposit will be returned if The Crossing is left clean and without property damage or loss.

We take care of all the clean-up. Hassle free wedding day. 

All rental items must be picked up Sunday morning unless other arrangements have been made with The Crossing staff.

DAY OF THE EVENT COORDINATOR & CONTACT PERSON

A day of the event wedding coordinator is required.  On your wedding day, a professional can help put your mind at ease, to help you and your partner to enjoy each other and to focus on loved ones and friends.  A coordinator is someone who can navigate the timeline, coordinate with the vendors, and put out any fires that may arise.

We also ask for a contact person, not in the wedding party, for any questions, concerns and requests prior to and during the day of your event. 

Our wish for you and your partner is you will be able to take in every moment of your wedding and to enjoy the day, fully!

The Crossing booking fee to reserve your event date is $1,500.  This amount is your first payment towards the total cost of the venue rental and is non-refundable, except in the instance of a Force Majeure event or of a breach of contract by The Crossing.

Yes, but you’d want to purchase insurance even if it wasn’t required. The cost for event insurance is minimal compared to the coverage it provides to protect you financially from mishaps that may occur. Truly, it is inexpensive peace of mind.

The caterer is one of the most important vendors at your event. Not only will they be preparing and serving the food, the catering staff has the most interaction with your guests. Timing is critical to your event, not only with the overall flow, but also the timing of when the food is cooked and served to your guests. 

Alcohol is allowed. Champagne for toasting, beer, wine and two signature drinks may be served.

You may choose any professional, licensed caterer and/or bar service you like.

All vendors must provide proof of insurance.

The Tehama County Venue Ordnance states amplified sound must end at 10 PM.

All amplified noise must remain at a reasonable volume so as not to create an annoyance to our neighbors.

We allow smoking in a designated area only.

All other areas, including the main parking lot, are not smoking areas. Given the ongoing dry weather conditions, we take this very seriously.

We are pet-friendly, with some stipulations.

ALL pets must be approved in writing 30 days prior to the event.

Approved pets will only be allowed during the ceremony and for family photos at the times and locations outlined in the written document referenced above.

For safety and health reasons, pets will not be allowed to remain at The Crossing during the reception or other events. The person designated in the written document above will be responsible for ensuring that the pet is removed from The Crossing and receiving proper care.

Yes, licensed food trucks are welcome.  Although, they may not provide the full service of a professional caterer. 

The nearest store is a Safeway Market and Rite Aid in Corning, about 15 minutes away. 

There are also several hotels and restaurants in Corning. The Rolling Hills Casino and Resort is an additional 5-minute drive with easy access off of I-5.
